Supporting Culturally Enriched Communities: Enhancing Employee Connections through the Arts

Travelers invests millions of dollars annually to support arts and cultural organizations that help keep our communities vibrant and culturally enriched. We believe that arts and cultural organizations help drive economic growth, enhance learning and build connections across communities.

Launched in 2018, Travelers Art Speaks engages participating employees in discussions that help drive civil discourse and promote unity. Through Travelers Art Speaks, employees can enjoy in-person or virtual artistic experiences, followed by facilitated discussions. Arts and cultural experiences vary, and employees are exposed to different forms of artistic expression, including live theater, visual arts, dance, photography and music. More than 7,750 participants have been reached by Travelers Art Speaks experiences.

In 2025, Travelers partnered with the New England Air Museum, the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, and other organizations to provide employees with enriching experiences that celebrate art, culture, history and traditions while fostering meaningful employee connections.

We also made a $1 million commitment to The Wadsworth in Hartford, Connecticut, to restore Wednesday public hours, expanding the museum’s weekly schedule from four to five days. By reinstating Wednesday hours, The Wadsworth is making meaningful progress toward its mission of keeping art accessible and relevant – strengthening the museum’s connection to the city it serves and helping it remain a welcoming, educational and inspiring space for all.
