MyTravelers®: Secure and Convenient Access from Anywhere
Responding to the evolving needs of our customers and their injured employees, we have made numerous investments in our workers compensation claim handling model, TravComp®. More than five years ago, we introduced our self-service workers compensation claim portal, MyTravelers® for Injured Employees. Usage of the platform has continued to increase, and since 2022, there have been more than two million MyTravelers user sessions.
Through this innovative platform, injured employees are empowered to engage in their return-to-work journey, provide updates regarding their recovery and interact with us digitally throughout the claim process. In-portal claim notifications, messaging with Claim and medical professionals, two-way document sharing and tailored digital content help ensure we get the right claim information into the hands of injured employees quickly. Injured employees can also elect to receive electronic payments through either PayPal or Zelle®, which reduces reliance on paper checks. TravComp provides a better experience for the injured employees, a better outcome for our customers and a more efficient result for Travelers.
In addition, opioids continue to have a profound impact on our society, and our customers and their injured employees are not immune to their effects. By combining the power of our people, analytics and technology, we can proactively address this issue and identify injured employees who are at risk for developing chronic pain, a condition that can lead to opioid dependency. Since 2015, Travelers Early Severity Predictor® has helped forecast which injured employees are at higher risk of developing chronic pain, allowing interventions before opioid dependency can take hold.
